It seems my problem is every time it gets cold out even if I plug it in it will crank and almost start but won t why?

I'd have to start with the basics, when the problem is ongoing. Intermittent issues can be a pain. Have a helper crank it, while you check for spark at the plugs, if spark everywhere, use a gage and check fuel pressure. Maybe fuel lines are trying to freeze? I know that isn't what you wanted to hear, but, without more info from you?
