auto door locks will work for a few days;than not for a few days?

When they are not working, check if there is power to the main switch on the driver's door. If there is no power, check for broken or damaged wires between the door and the door frame. They will be in a rubber boot and it's not uncommon for them to break down inside and to make connections on and off. On the other hand, if there is power to the switch, chances are it is going bad.
