I just put a intake gaset on my 4.0 ford Ranger engine. The engine runs smooth but will not start after it get a little warm. It act like it is runing too rich. And flood out. After you get it started the engine run very smooth but too fast.

I have the exact same problem. Intake gasket replaced, MAF replaced, TPS replaced, new fuel pump, filter, and brand new fuel lines. When the truck is cold starts great, run it till it gets warm don't dare shut if off unless you have a good hour or two till it cools down. One difference, my check engine light is on and its output is Bank1 running lean. Cleared the code three times and wont come back on until I try and start when engine is warm. If I start warm and rev RPM over 3,000 and get moving its ok, but if I can't get it reved up (chokes out/misses when acclerator pressed) it won't start till it has totally cooled down. Have spent HOURS researching a fix. PLEASE HELP!
