Why is my instrament panel not working right?

The tach doesn't work the speedometer is slow. The temp gauges stays at 270.
The oil pressure needle jumps around. The head light control panel gets hot with the lights on. The air nag light stays on. Can't turn the brights on with the head lights on. I just bought the truck off craigslist and it looks like they messed with the wiring some. ITS A MESS! And the fronyt end squeaks when turningI and hittingI bumbs. Please help.

Cluster itself might be bad. Still goes down the road alright?

They have a ton of problems with those clusters. The dealer has reman exchange units pretty reasonable.

Resolve the cluster problem first to see if they are related or not.

Ok I will thanks again! I don't know a lot abt the newer vehicles but I had a feeling the cluster was bad.

I can't confirm that from here. It needs to be tested with a scan tool to verify the failure.
