So my mom come back from driving the car and tells me that the car makes a weird noise and the coolant temperature needle goes up to the top. Sounded bad so I decided to go check out the problem by driving it.
The symptoms are this:
I drove the car for less than an mile and then started to drive it up a hill, then the car started making a weird crackling sound, and then finally the temperature needle started to go up. So I coasted down the hill, and drove it back home, slowly, as it would make the crackling sound the more I accelerated and the temperature would go up. I got home, and my car smelt like burning rubber. I've had issues with my battery terminals, and maybe a dying battery, and also a code p401 insufficient egr flow and along with a Idle control system code. But I've never had this happen with my car. It also has an annoying oil leak, but the oil levels were ok.
Now my car wont start, it tries to, but never does... Thanks for the help.
