Clean the idle air control valve/auxiliary air control valve or you can try it through the throttle stop screw.

Read the guide below, it will help

Recently, my truck started acting wierd. It runs fine when cold (although the idle bounces around a bit), but when its warm, I put it in gear and go to accelerate, the rpms surge up and the truck does not go anywhere. Then the rpms drop back down and it accelerates. It acts worse doing this more often when the ac is on or the truck is low on oil. I though it could be the clutch slipping but I researched it more and found that people have the same problem when the IACV or throttle body is dirty. Please help.

How do I go about testing these components? Can you tell me where they are located? Will they also need to be cleaned?
