Sorry, that was one of the last replies you made and it slipped my attention. I had been trying to get you to understand the problem but you keep going in the wrong direction.
We try to understand your problem to be sure of the cause and whatever information we knows comes from you. Wrong information means wrong or no answers. If you had not locked your mind on the problem onto something else, the problem would have been resolved long ago.
You busted your head and gaskets because of over heating due to the missing and non operational cooling fan in the first place and I am still surprised how you managed to get it to run for so long without it. The only answer I can think off is you either don't travel in high traffic areas with very short low speed driving or your travelling distances/time are short.
Anyway good to know you have the problem fixed.
Btw air craft engines do not use cooling fans if I am not mistaken, they don't fly in in traffic jams conditons.
