1. Upper engine cleaner. You can get it at a parts store and it has a container that you add fluid and hooks up to a vacuum line to clean all upper intake areas.
Shops disable the fuel pump and use a direct injection into the fuel line with a can of industrial cleaner to clean injectors. Additives rarely work.

2. Jack up the wheel and check for play at 6 and 12 o clock position and check at the 3 and 9 as well.
