I purchased a car battery but I don't know if it will fit my car. I have a 1996 Ford Windstar 3.8L V6. I bought an Optima Rettop battery. The dimensions are:
L: 9 5/16"
W: 6 13/16"
H: 7 5/8"
the ca is 1000, cca is 800 and rc is 100. There is no group #.

Why not measure what's in your car now and compare? Didn't the place you bought it from have a replacement reccomendation chart? I've seen these batteries and do not have the impresion they are in anyway oversized. Are you worried it might be too small?

All batteries are categorized by a group # and that is how the fit, specifications and dimensions are determined.
This car requires a Group #65
