1996 Dodge Caravan--- Break lights don`t work, bulbs check out OK. How do I fix them?

Check fuse 16, a 20 amp under the hood. If it's not blown, check for voltage on the white / tan wire in one of the bulb sockets when a helper presses the brake pedal. If there's no voltage there, suspect the brake light switch. Check for voltage on the pink / dark blue wire on the switch, then on the white / tan wire when the pedal is pushed.
