Only the center high-mount brake light and license lamp use a common sense circuit. All other interior and outside lights are run by the Body Computer. If the wipers work, the fuse is not blown. The computer is stuck up against the firewall in front of the brake pedal. It is not a do-it-yourself item, in fact, it's miserable for the professionals, and it has a high failure rate. Sorry to say, but this is why I'm sticking with my 1988 Grand Caravan, ... No computers and extremely reliable.
