I have compression, fuel, but no spark. On a 1996 monte carlo Z34, 3.4 motor. I have 12 volts on the 2 prong connector ground and a 11.97 volts on the 2 prong connector when key is "on". I have the correct ohms on the crank sensor, and it fluxuates between.3 and.9 AC Volts when cranked. Have 12V on ECM connector as well. Changed ignition module and coils 5 times, and tried the module from my running grand-am. Still NO SPARK! Bad ground or ECM?
(BTW just changed the motor, and put new negative battery wire.)

Ok, would that cause a vehicle "no spark" condition at coils? I have cleared the code and tried to start the vehicle, same code re-appears with p1642 "vehicle speed output". Cleared codes and the same codes come back. Just confuses me even more.
