My old/unused Lesabre needs to be towed out of my yard to donate it, but I can't get it shifted out of park into Neutral to do so. It's been unused for years, so other than a jumper box, it has no electrical power and is not running. I'm assuming it is related to the shift interlock solenoid. The shifter is on the column. What's the easiest way to get this car into Neutral? Destructive methods accepted. :)

Disconnect the cable at the trans shift lever and move it out of park. Or hook up a battery that is good or jumper cables and let old battery charge for a few minutes, turn key on and press brake it should go to neutral.

I really have no way to access the vehicle from underneath. Assume that's required to access the trans shift lever? Old battery is completely dead and won't charge at all.

Then jump it or put a battery from another car in it until it shifts out of park. I forgot it's rear wheel drive. You could unhook under steering column and do the same thing.
