Engine Performance problem
1996 Buick Lesabre 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I installed a transmission and when istart it up it shuts off in about 5 seconds.

What is it losing when it dies, spark or fuel? Did you get all the grounds tight?

The car ran fine when idrove it in the garage. There wwas no grounds bolted to the bell housing. It dont lose fuel and power stays to module, it will start right back up after it shuts off. I put afuel pump in changed computers, no codes in it. The grounds are bolted on the sides of the block that ican see.

Those had issues with crank angle sensors, you may hvae one acting up, they dont always set codes
