I got into accident but still drove it a few more minuted. When I shut it off it wouldnt start again replaced starter but when I hooked the battery back up it tried to start on its own, so what could be wrong now?

Most likely the smaller solenoid wire is turned in such a way that it's touching the larger stud with the positive battery cable attached to it. You can prove that by unplugging the starter relay. If it still cranks when you connect the battery cable, the wires have to be touching or the starter solenoid is stuck.
