If you can find the white wires in the orange conduit at the base of the column, disconnect the connector. With an ohmmeter, check for continuity when the key is inserted in the ignition, and at all ranges(ACC/RUN/START). More than likely you have a failed ignition lock cylinder. The wires break up near the cylinder over time.
