If I have requested a full inspection and diagnosis of my clutch on my 1995 BMW 325i, what in detail could I expect that the mechanic will do to ensure my clutch is in the best working condition?

Are you having a problem? There are rivets holding the friction material to the metal disc. The only way to see how much material is left before those rivets start grinding is to remove the transmission. Even that will be misleading because there can be almost no material left and it will last another 100,000 miles depending on your driving habits and the amount of highway driving.

You also might get an idea of how much wear has taken place by how much the fluid level has dropped in the master cylinder but that's assuming no one has topped the fluid off during other routine service.
