1994 isuzu tries to start but dies right away

it tries to fire. recently changed fuel pump & filter. changed filter again after 50 miles.

I think I can help you.

I have the same year and sometimes have the same problem. It's either your lines or your injectors that are clogged. If you let your tank get low and it sucks the crap sitting at the bottom of your tank into the lines, or sometimes when you're out in a lot of dust and silt, it will clog stuff up, too.

If it sounds like it wants to die when you start it, pump the gas a bit and keep the key cranked and sometimes after about 20 or 30 seconds, it will kick it out and the truck will start again.

Look no further. That is your problem.
