Is there a part that will make the fuel pump not come on and spray fuel from jets.I got fuel in the rail and I can jump wire my fuel pump to make it run. But the van will not start, I have fire because I can spray starter fluid in the intake an it will fire.I'm lost. Thought it may be crank sensor. I put a new fuel pump in and then tested my old one and it still works. My only way to explain it is. What ever part it is will not let the fuel pump come on and will not let the fuel flow how ever it needs to fire or run. Nothing just turns over. Sorry, i'm not too go with automobile talk but a half way good old country boy maintenance. The only way I new the new fuel pump work was to jump wire it, like a race car with some wire to the fuse box. At that time the fuel pump worked great, fill up the rail, just wouldn't fire. Then I spray a little not too much starter fluid in the intake an she tried to fire. One part is this keeping the fuel pump from working, but the coils sparking?

Which engine do you have? First you have to determine if the automatic shutdown relay is turning on. Measure the voltage on the dark green / orange wire at the ignition coil or coil pack, or any injector. You'll see 12 volts there for one second after turning on the ignition switch. What's important is that it must come back during cranking.
