What turns off? The engine? The dash? The heater, radio, and power windows? When? Within a few seconds? Ten minutes? Half an hour?

You think the engine stops running? If I had to guess, I would think you start the engine, it runs for about two seconds, then after it stalls the dash lights stay on. If that sounds right, that suggests the anti-theft system is preventing the engine from running. If that's the case, the engine will run again for two seconds the next time you try it. Use the key to unlock the driver's door. If that doesn't help, try the passenger door. If your car doesn't have the factory anti-theft system, a glitch may have caused the Engine Computer and the Body Computer to self-program themselves for that function. That programming can not be undone. For that you must replace both computers at the same time with new ones or with used ones that are both from cars without anti-theft.
