Hi, when I turn on the defroster the air does not come out of the top vents at the windshield. It does not matter which speed I selected. So for example when I have it on high just a little bit of air comes out with no force. I have taken the faceplate off and checked all the controls and there is a little part. Not sure what it's called but my cousin said it was working. Any suggestions and help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

I believe the air flow vents are operated by engine vacuum. Have you checked for leaks?

Hi, thanks for replying. No I have not checked for leaks. I do not know where to check. Can you provide how and where I can check for the leaks?
Thank you,
Mark

The vacuum is provided by the engine so you need to start by locating the vacuum supply from the engine, through the firewall, and under the dash. Also, if you look at the attached picture, you will see a mode actuator and defrost actuator. Locate them under the dash and check for vacuum to them.
