I just bought this car as a gift from someone through a friend. I didn't know it blew out smoke it looks whitish blue and its so blows out of the exhaust so bad its a big cloud in a few seconds. I need to know if its something serious or an easier fix.

Blue smoke is oil burning, I would start with a compression test and a leak down test, just to see if the rings are ok, also look at the plugs is there any grey deposits on the plugs, if so this is ash build up from burning oil.
