92 Honda Accord

I have a 92 Honda Accord that loses acceleration while driving, I am still able to drive with that loss of acceleration but at a low speed and the car will not acclerate and as soon as the engine light comes on it will accelerate fine. It is a Automatic.

Scan the computer for code/s -this is your starting point finding out what's going on that's causing the CEL to come ON.

When light comes on ECM may be going into default mode so it can be driven to a repair shop to be checked out.

Apparently the codes have been already checked and are fine. What happen's to the car when it goes into default mode?

ECM uses moderate settings to run car without sensor inputs.

Link shows how to retrieved trouble codes. What code were shown when you had it read? If no codes were shown, the ECM is faulty or you have a bad ground circuit connection, most commonly at the thermostat housing.

Is the D4 light ( S light if equipped ) blinking when vehicle is running?
