1992 Honda Accord 1992 Accord loses acceleration and regain

Hi there, I have a 1992 Accord problem.
when I start off on Drive, or from a red light, the engine has very little acceleration, until I press in the accelerator 3/4 way. This use to happen in mornings, and now happens at least twice every time I drive the vehicle, I am scared when I make left turns in hurry, one time I don't know how I made it through on time.
Please helps thanks a million in advance.

Does the car feel like it's chugging or running rough?

There a few possibilities with your vehicle:

-It may be as simple as a tune-up issue. If you haven't done a tune-up in a while, the vehicle will feel sluggish

-Your timing may be off, your vehicle has a timing belt, and occasionally they do jump teeth if they have not been maintained

-It may be a transmission/torque convertor issue.

Have a qualified mechanic took a look at your vehicle.
