This morning my 1992 honda accord lost power[abs light came on] lights dimmed, odometer and tachometer stopped working, cat and exhaust system got red hot glowing

The catalytic conver glowing red hot indicates there is a misfire in the engine and you need to have that rectified as it is causing the loss of power.

Check the spark plugs, wires and distributor cap.
ABS indicator light turning on could be a fault with the ABS system. You need to retrieve the trouble codes to find out what is wrong.

However since the lights dimmed, it could be a fault with the charging system. Is the charge indicator working and did it show when problem occurred?
