Put engine no.1 on its compression stroke/TDC and align the Cam and Crank as indicated in the repair manual

Hi there,

check compression, check that the plug is not fuel fouled if it is dry check the power and injection pulse, if wet check that the injector is not leaking, tart here.

Thank-you for taking the time and answering my questions!
My husband and I are greatly appreciative!

2 fuel injectors get no pulse. What would cause that? ECU needs replaced?

Hi there,

it is unusual for two injectors to loose pulse, I would first check that the pins in the plug are tight & clean, if OK, you may have to get the ECU tested for a fault.

Well Hello

I would like to start by letting you know how appreciative and grateful we are for your help and amazed at your timely responses! Damn, there might just be someone, or two, out there that really does want to help!

Did the diganostic. Didn't help. AAMCO SUKX!
Where can I get the ECU tested or how can I do that myself?

Also. Is there any other vehicles that could possibly be compatiable, or interchangable to my vehicle's ECU?

Hi there,

The ECU will be a stand alone unit, It will be to complex for you to do this your self, now as for testing, I would suggest that you contact a major parts out let as they may have this information, as I live in Australia, I'm not that sure who you can contact direct for this service, if you have no luck, re post and I will contact another Mod in the US and ask them.
