Hi, I don't know whether you'll be able to help me, since my car is quite unusual. I own a Nissan Figaro which is leaking transmission fluid. The engine is based on the Micra. My husband repairs all our vehicles but we can't locate a repair manual for either the Figaro or the Micra. We live in Canada; maybe the Micra was called something else in the U.S? Anyway, can you give us any advice on fixing the problem with my wonderful, adorable, pampered little Figgy? She only has 83,000 km on her (we recently drove from Vancouver to San Francisco and back) and everything went beautifully except for this leak. I'd really appreciate any help you could offer. Thank you so much.

Major trans oil leaks are normally from the front seal, pan gasket or drive shaft seals, minor leaks normally from transducer seal or selector seals or servo covers, a good wash down and test drive should show up any fresh leak.
