I'm having a problem with all of my power window switches which at this time, includes the master switch (which powers all windows) on the driver's side door as well as the individual switches on the three other doors. Yesterday, I was able to take the windows down slightly (using the master switch) but then unable to take them back up. Now, they will not move at all, up or down, with ANY of the switches. The fuse was the first thing I checked and it is fine. One sidenote.I had replaced that driver's side master switch (used) about six years ago after having the same problem. The only difference back then was that the individual switches did work. Any ideas? I will appreciate any feedback. Thanks so much!

Start by checking the wires between the left door hinges. Look for any that are frayed or broken.

Thank you for the reply. Those wires are wrapped but from what I can tell, the bundle does not seem to be pinched in anyway to cause problems. I moved it around, tried to straighten it out the best I could while pressing switches. No luck. Any other ideas?

You have to unwrap them to inspect them. Otherwise you'll have to remove the switch assembly to measure voltages. I don't have a service manual to show me the wire colors, but what you might expect is to find no 12 volts on any wire if the feed circuit has a break or 12 volts on both wires at the motor when that switch is pressed in either direction if the ground wire is broken. If it's a standard window circuit with a lockout switch for the passenger switches, all of the windows will be dead if either of those wires are broken.
