2001 Nissan Maxima Power Window

Six month ago the front passanger side window stop opening with the switch on that door. It still would open with the master switch. Then 3 months later rear passanger side window started doing the same thing. I did not bother with it because I still could open it. Now a few weeks ago, the front driver side window stop opening. There is no noise when I try to open it. The master switch still is able to open the rest of the windows except the driver side. I want to know if its the master door switch, the regulator or the motor.

Hi LOQUITA555,

You need to run some test to confirm which is faulty.

Check for blown fuse first.

To test motor, remove door panel and disconnect motor wire. Apply battery positive current to 1 terminal and negative to the other. Reverse the polarity and if motor works both ways, it should be the switch or power supply.
