The big one is not. That is the Park and Neutral position switch. There are 2 wires running of it but I can't see it going to where. That could be ne.

It is inside transmission with the valve body. Ecternally it is identified by a Tan/Black wire. At transmission you should see some wires going into the transmission and one of it is the TCC wire.

To get at the wire connector, not necessary, if you are taking the valve body out, yes.

It it INSIDE the transmisson together with the valve body. You can't see it from outside and the picture you provide does not even show the wires. Refer to the diagram you posted about the Park and Neutral position switch, it is somewhere near there.
