My 91 camaro rs sat for about a year 1/5 under a good cover and was started every so often. I get a code 22 (low volts) on TPS. It runs great until it warms up and possibly going to open loop and then it will cut off and you have to baby it home by patting the accelerator and creep along. The index volts are.5 and WOT is 4.96v. This is with the ignition switch on but car not running. I'm a disabled vet and can't pay too much although I'll have to buy what I need and give a $20 fee to whoever can help fix this. Please help I've got a limited amount of time to get this done. I answered some questions on this site some time ago but electronics aren't my forte by a long shot. Thanks!

See pics for diagnosis with volt ohm meter. Also clean throttle plate on both sides and iac hole with choke cleaner

I've done all that. Changed TPS, checked voltageTPS-MAP now getting a code for MAT. Also changed out the dist module with a good used one for reference. The only thing I haven't checked is the 5V on the MAT sensor, I'm taking a rest, my brain is fried. My tach goes full over when running. I want to exhaust all my options before buying the ECM. The car runs beautifully in closed loop but then I have to baby the throttle to get back home, hills are a big problem. It'll stall but cranks right back up. Let me know if there's something I've missed, I'm going to recheck voltages again tomorrow. I overlooked your answer last week so I'll pay closer attention now. Thanks!

I've managed to get all my sensors fixed and it's not storing any codes but it still isn't right. When it goes to closed loop it still dies and is undrivable.

One thing I did forget was to check fuel pressure with a gauge should be 41-47 psi if lower than that replace pump. As far as tach going over it may be a bad dash as they are digital and fail they can be rebuilt however. This may be a fuel problem and causing the other problem.S. Normally on these if a map sensor is bad the car won't run. It can also be a vacuum leak causing poor map sensor problems.
