Need help controlling the temperature on a 305 engine on a 1991 Camaro RS. Changed the thermostat, flushed the radiator, hoses seem to be fine and just replaced the fan motor. Only thing that I can think of is that the fan is hooked up to a switch and does not seem to run any faster when it warms up than it is at when just turned on, could this be the problem?

Could be a defective new thermostat, water pump not doing its job and airlock that's needs bleeding if all okay and continue to run hot -get it block and pressure tested.

How would I bleed the airlock? I have never heard of that.
