None of the lights work on the rear? That means five circuits are dead, and no parts are involved in all five of them. Look for a wiring harness that got cut or chewed on by a mouse. Also look for a connector that got unplugged, then overlooked. As I recall, there's one connector in the bulkhead connector just for the rear lights.
If you don't find anything obvious, we'll have to pick one of the circuits to start the testing on. You'll need a test light or a voltmeter, and I'll find a wiring diagram. Probably the easiest one to start with is the tail lights.
To start the testing, turn on the tail lights and use a stick to hold down the brake pedal a little, then test for voltage on the terminals in one of the rear sockets. If you find voltage on any terminal but no lights work, you have a broken ground wire. It's rare to have a broken ground on both sides at the same time, but that would explain why all the lights are dead.
