When I start the engine up, the engine will rev great for about 30 seconds then runs rough, chugging, not enough power to drive, and blows blue smoke out of tail pipe. Head gasket blown? There is no smoke out at start up and runs great at first. The cat is not plugged nor is the muffler I know for sure.

Blue smoke indicates that oil is being burned. Have you checked for a head gasket issue?

I was thinking it was a head gasket. Is there a way to do a test to see if head gasket is bad?

Check engine compression to see if you have a weak cylinder. If you need directions, let me know.
