Car will not start. The engine turns over but that is it. I suspect a fuel system problem. Fuel pump appears to have plenty of pressure. A Noid light indicates that the injectors are firing. Checking a spark plug, it was dry. There appears to be a spark. I currently suspect the fuel pressure regulator. The fuel rail has fuel flowing through it but I cannot tell if it is pressurizing.

Your car is equipped with a computer controlled engine management system. An independent auto service center can scan your computer for fault or error codes. The information should pinpoint the malfunctioning components.

My car has 155,000 miles. Just of late I will go to start the car after work and it will turn over but not start. To get the car started I need to put a little starter fluid into a couple of cylinders and she starts up. She will start for a day or two and then the same problem occurs. What could be possibly be going on?

Thanks,
Bart
