First possible problem
Here's my '77 fuel pics---i have rebent/ installed new lines to make them pertty
Lemme know if you find your return and if it has not been broke off/ eliminated
You need to configure back to stockthe regulator will still ok .......see my pics
Lets also change the pcv to a 1979---it sucks in less air volume......you will have to most likely have to re-adjust your mix screw to compensate (this will also affect your idle speed--so adj it too!)......use your dwell/ tach and max out your needle.......i think i covered how to do this in the "stalls when hot" link
Check ot this link----pay attention to the pcv
................and the coil.
....other stuff may not pertain to you
Http://www.2carpros.com/questions/1979-jeep-cj7-stalls-will-restart-after-3-4-hrs-driving-off-raod-on-hilly-terrai
.....i noticed yours was not oem......which is fine, as long as it does not have an internal resistor................., the "high speed lookin' coil" probably ain't much improvement over the stock one
This last pic is from a 1979 wire diagram---it explains the resistor wire
Still looking at your other pics...getting late here....0132 hrs eastern
Lemme know when you gitter done....we will continue on
Your turn
