Have you recently replaced the spark plug wires?
Check them to make sure they are routed properly to each cylinder.
To do this, put the number #1 cylinder at top dead center. Then point the distributor cap rotor at the position of the distributor cap.
Other problems that could be the source of the issues;
Old spark plugs or plugs that have been fouled from the engine being flooded or running too rich.
A low battery which is not spinning the motor fast enough to start the engine.
