Put a ignition kit in a 1976 jeep. It blew out the bottom of the new module so put a new coil and module back in and now do not get spark at plugs or coil! Any suggestions of why?

Hey feller,

I answer the CJs a lot. Had at least one as a primary driver since '81 when I got my drivers license

I know a lot. Mainly with Stock type stuff

What sorta "KIT" are we a-talkin' about?

Explain/ Describe this new module

Let me know what your Tentative intension's are and what your are trying to accomplish

What you "DO" with your baby?

I know the ignition system well

I was/ am looking forward to aiding you, with your Baby

The site was recently remodeled and Email Notifications were not made properly or on time, a lot of other things here are not finished yet

I hope you have not been back because of no Email, not because my answer before was unpleasant to you or just plain ole, sounded stupid to you!

I've, kept mine out of the Shop since, lets see, the receipt is in Mr. Jeep's Chllton's repair manual (his personal one, that I keep in his console -- last time I saw it was when I took these pics)

The year was 1987---I had been attempting some repairs prior to that, but in 1987 I finally got fed up with Mr. Jeep getting "SICK" and me being Ignorant and not understanding what to do. Thus he was at the mercy of a shop.

Mr. Jeeps ('77 CJ5) personal manual is the Top row, faded and sorta falling apart Chilton 3rd over---4th over, stays in "WILLY", ('46 Willys Jeep, my Avatar)----top row 1st, manual is one that was in a Jeep I bought in 1984, its a "1979 AMC JEEP SERVICE MANUAL" as you can see, I failed to care for it.I Just about cry when I need it now (its really the BEST MANUAL I OWN, and the EZist to understand) I can be seen trying to "iron" some it out so I can read vacuum diagrams

These is some of the other manuals I have needed over the years, on my shelves, above my Portable Computer, in my "Man Cave"/ Guest Bedroom (the one inside the house!)

I'm still here if you want to try again!
