My car will not start it has had a starter recently put on it. The battery is good and the alternator is good. Checked all the fuses maybe the ignition switch maybe bad. I don't know. Just my car won't start it was something in the mud recently it started a couple of times after the starter was replaced and then it just quit and won't start back up or turn over.

Hello, I'm Harry. There are a couple of things I'd like to check. First off, if you can get your hands on an obd2 scanner, you should do that. Scanning for fault codes could tell us why the car isn't starting. Retrieve those code numbers and report them here. We'll pick through them and see what we see.

If that doesn't work or isn't doable, the next thing I'd look at is the key itself. Take it to your nearest Chevy dealership and have them check it. They ought to check it for very cheap.

You might also try the security relearn process. Put the key in the ignition and switch it on (do not crank it) for 10 minutes. Then turn it off for 1 minute. Repeat twice more. Then crank it and see what happens.
