Hi,

Is the new fuel pump sending fuel to the carburetor? If this has a carburetor, I believe it has a mechanical fuel pump. If that is the case, the fuel pump lobe on the cam may be worn and not actuating the pump.

I need a little more info. First, is this a 5.0L or 5.8L? Also, let me know if it is a mechanical fuel pump. If it is electric, follow the directions in the link below to make sure it is producing. Also, let me know if the old carb was doing the same thing.

Let me know.

Take care,

Joe
