It starts but won’t stay running for very long. It has gas and throttle response it runs for a minute or so then shuts off.

Hi,

First, have you checked for diagnostic trouble codes? If not, that is where I recommend starting. If there are codes stored, it should point us in the right direction. Here is a link that explains how it's done:

Next, you could have something as simple as a partially plugged fuel filter or a weak fuel pump that can't keep up with the demand.

How old is the fuel filter? Have you checked fuel pressure? Also, when it stalls, does it start right back up for you?

If I had the vehicle, the first thing I would do is check the fuel pressure and watch it until the vehicle stalls to confirm if it is related or not. If the fuel filter is old, just for maintenance, it should be replaced. I attached the directions below specific to this vehicle if you want to do it. Additionally, here is a link you may find helpful:

Also, there are other things that can be causing the issue. That is why I recommended checking for codes. If, however, you would like to check fuel pressure, here is a link that explains how it is done:

Let me know as much as you can.

Take care,

Joe
