Last Thursday about 6:00 van starter kept turning over, I turned the ignition off instantly and it kept turning until it turned off by itself. Cranked ignition up again and it cranked normal but the entire drive of all about 6-8 miles heard clicking until I shut engine off once arrived at destination. An hour and half later tried to start vehicle and the starter once again kept turning over and I turned the ignition off again and it stopped on its own, but tried to start it back up and nothing, it completely died. Had new battery installed, new starter installed, also new fuses as well as solenoid switch was changed to new. Still nothing got some power tried to jump but nothing still. Was told it could be the ignition module so changed that and still wont crank. Please help been sitting broken down for a week and a day.

I would suspect the starter solenoid on the firewall. Double check all body grounds. I had one do that one time and it was a broken ground strap.

The small wire on the "S" terminal is the trigger wire so it should only have power when the key is held in "start" position. If it won't stop cranking pull that wire off and see if it stops then. If you don't have power getting to that wire, start checking all your fusible links which are connected the the battery side of that solenoid. Pull on each wire and if any of them stretch, they are burnt out. Use ONLY FUSE WIRE to repair that.

I have seen where the battery is too weak to disengage the starter once it has begun cranking over, have you tried a new battery?
