I was pulling out of a parking lot and the exit had a rut that didn't see, so the bottom of my car scraped pretty good, but not too bad or so i thought. then my car shut off and now it won't start but it's turning over and it has power. So, what could it be??

Hi,

The first thing we need to determine is if has spark and fuel to the engine. This will help us narrow down possible causes.

To get started, try this. See if it starts for a couple of seconds using starting fluid. If it does and then stalls, we have a fuel-related issue. If there is no change, then it is likely ignition related.

If there is no change with the starting fluid, follow this link to check for spark:

Also, here is a link that you may find helpful. It covers the most common causes of a crank no start condition.

Let me know the results of your tests. Also, let me know which side of the vehicle hit.

Take care,

Joe
