I brought a zafira b 1.9cdti 3 months ago and only used it twice it's been parked up since unable to use. It kept going into limp mode so I had it checked and there was 6 damaged wires on the loom so that was replaced. Then I had the ECU CIM module etc, all replaced and now it wont start. I'm at wits end with it so any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to 2CarPros.

First, this car isn't offered in the US, so my technical information is limited. However, I will do my best to help. Does the engine still turn but fail to start? Was the CIM installed by a reputable shop? Was it programmed for your vehicle? It is located underneath the steering wheel around the column. I have no pictures to help locate it, but make sure everything is properly attached. The CIM will prevent the vehicle from starting.

If possible scan the vehicle's computer system to determine if there are any diagnostic trouble codes related. One such code, U2139 †CAN bus no communication with CIM, could indicated a faulty connection.

Let me know if this helps.

Take care,
Joe
