At first I just kept getting a ding every time I would step on my brake it seemed. Then I kept blowing 20 amp fuses. Now it just will not start. I ran a wire to the starter, it tried to turn over but will not.

Hello,

It sounds like you have a bad battery which needs to be replaced, here are a couple of guise to confirm and if so to replace the battery.
