There were two engines available for this model and they use different systems. All engines need spark, fuel, air, compression, and all of those in the correct timing. If spark is strong and steady, fuel pressure is up to specs, or it does not fire when starting fluid is sprayed in, the best suspect would probably be a jumped timing belt. When that happens, compression will typically be lower than normal, on all cylinders equally.
