My car quit running one day and it showed there was power and I tried starting it and it's trying to start but nothing. I have replaced the fuel filter and charged the battery and still nothing. Please anything helps.

Good morning,

Does the engine crank over normally?

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-test-engine-compression

Can you check the actual battery voltage?

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/car-battery-load-test

Can you hear the fuel pump run with the key turned on?

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-fuel-system-pressure-and-regulator

Can you check for spark?

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-test-an-ignition-system

You need spark, fuel and compression for the engine to run.

We need to do some testing to find out why it will not start.

Roy

Yes, it cranks and if it cranks it wouldn't be the starter right? An battery is good. I don't have a fuel tester so my dad is going to help me in the morning. He said I should be able to take off the fuel hose and turn the key over to tell me if it's the fuel pump. Other wise I don't know how else to test it. Its really hard to hear the pump an say weather or not I can hear it cause all the beeping the dash makes turning on the car.

Thank you again for all your help. I don't know a lot about cars just the basis and I'm a single mom and with the Corona virus it's hard to stay working and being able to take to a shop is not an option. Can't afford it.
Thanks again.

Okay, you need a pressure tester for the fuel pump. The pump can work but not supply the correct pressure for the injectors to work.

You can rent one at a parts store.

Let me know what you find so we can continue.
