My truck shut off while backing up. When trying to restart it would turn over and then not really start. The whole truck would shudder like it was running really rough. Shut it off then restarted without a problem. Drove about two miles and shut it off and now will not restart at all. It just continues to turn over and if it catches at all it is just the shuddering feeling.

This sounds like you have one of two problems. the first thing that comes to mind is the crankshaft angle sensor and the second is a failing fuel pump. With the key in the on position can you hear the pump run for about five seconds?

Lets run the codes to see what comes up.

Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.
