I have the vehicle listed above is a 2014. The battery was replaced a little while back. I am retired, and don't drive much (just normal errands). My yearly inspection is due, and there were several sensors that came back as incomplete. The guy doing the inspection said I needed to drive it about 40 miles. I have driven about 61 since. Will this fix the issues?

Hi,

Because the battery was disconnected, he is correct. There are monitors that need to reset to indicate the system is working properly.

As far as the mileage needed, there isn't a specific mileage. Instead, it is based on drive cycles. In some cases, 40 miles can work, but other times, it takes much longer.

To determine if it is ready, a scan tool is used to determine IM readiness. If there are still monitors that are still incomplete, you need to keep driving it.

Let me know if that helps or if you have questions.

Take care,

joe
