Will not go in reverse

Car drives fine but will not go in reverse unless I am on a hill.

Good evening.

The fact that it goes forward fine tells me you have an internal issue for reverse application.

One thing you could try is changing the oil/filter and see if that makes any difference since reverse needs the most pressure to apply.
